Tatami mat maintenance
We offer new tatami mats, refacing tatami mats, inside-out tatami mats, tatami mats for tea rooms, colored tatami mats, tatami mats for flooring, Ryukyu tatami mats, colored Ryukyu tatami mats, and other tatami mats to match the occasion of your room.
We have also arrived Okinawan Beegu (Rush), and this year we have been blessed with good weather and are producing very high quality Beegu.

Repapering of shoji screens
At Kawatake Tatami store, we are honing our skills to properly repair shoji and fusuma as wall!
We will do our best to repair them.
(There are some cases... that threw it away because it was broken... so don't throw away the fittings and fix them so you don't regret it when you find out the new price!!)
Repapering of fusuma
It is recommended to use a "Japanese style" pattern for the Japanese-style room side and a "Western style" pattern for the Western-style room side. (The prices are low and new designs are increasing, so please take a look!)
Replacement of screen doors
There are various colors of screen doors, each with their own characteristics.

Gray: Light reflects on the gray net and it looks whitish.

Silver: Reflects light well. The net appears shiny and blocks your line of sight.
"Silver black magic'' is a net that is silver on the outside and black on the inside. When looking inside the house from the outside, the screen door shines, making it difficult to see inside, and when you look at the outside scenery from inside the house, it appears that there is no black screen.
